In pursuit of enhancing the scientific impact and international visibility of the journal, the Journal of Urban Economics and Planning is pleased to announce that, beginning with Volume 7, Issue 1 (April 2026), the journal will be published on a monthly basis and in a bilingual format (Persian–English).
To align with this new publication policy, authors whose manuscripts are submitted on or after October 7, 2025 (16 Mehr 1404) and subsequently accepted for publication, are required to provide and upload an English version of their manuscripts to the submission system prior to final publication.
This strategic transition is intended to broaden the journal’s accessibility to international readership, enhance citation potential, and facilitate the journal’s inclusion in reputable global indexing databases.
