The Journal of Urban Economics and Planning (JUEP) is a double-blinde peer-reviewed, Platinum open-access scholarly publication affiliated with Tehran Urban Research and Planning Center and dedicated to advancing knowledge in the interdisciplinary domains of urban planning and urban economics. This journal follows the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and is published under Creative Commons License 4.0 (CC-BY).
JUEP publishes original scientific articles focusing on urban planning and urban economics. The audience includes all thinkers, specialists, and students of fields related to urban planning and urban economy. The journal endeavors to serve as a premier platform for disseminating high-quality research findings and scholarly contributions that address both theoretical and practical dimensions of urban and regional planning and economics. Our principal objective is to facilitate an intellectual dialogue among scholars, practitioners, and policy-makers to better understand and solve complex issues facing cities, particularly in the context of Iran and Tehran.
JUEP has also gained a Scientific rank "B" from the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology for 3 consecutive years and it has been indexed in well-known world databases such as Copernicus (The ICI Journals Master List), ISC (Islamic World Science & Technology Monitoring and Citation Institute), EuroPub (Directory of Academic and Scientific Journals), ESJI (Eurasian Scientific Journal Index) Directory of Research Journals Indexing; and national indexes such as SID, Institute For Humanities and Cultural Studies, Magiran, Noormags and so on.
